Recognized professional and deep-tech entrepreneur/executive with over 20yrs of experience in the field of Photonic devices and laser-based sensing and diagnostic systems.

Produced extensive high-end research on the development of new infrared technologies, and contributed to their commercialization and business development. Led several innovations and generated multiple patents and publications - including prestigious reviews such as Science, Nature, and book chapters. At the same time contributed to the start-up and growth of two companies that pioneered the commercialization of these technologies.

Currently advising, mentoring, and investing in several deep-tech early stage companies in North America and Europe.

Nominated Fellow of the Optical Society of America, Senior member of IEEE and SPIE, nominated to the SPIE PRISM awards and Intesa-SanPaolo award for Entrepreneurship.
